Tina BreceljTina Brecelj has been the Head of the Department for Court Management Development at the Supreme Court of the Republicof Slovenia since 2005. In her roles, Tina Brecelj is mainly charged with running various projects aiming to increase the efficiency of the Slovene courts. The Department she’s leading has set the standards for the quality assessment of the courts’ work and prepares the annual priority measures for the courts in Slovenia. Ms. Brecelj was a Director (Court Manager) of the Ljubljana District Court from 2002 until 2005. In that role she developed nationally recognized results oriented budgeting model. As a USAID consultant she has participated in several administration of justice projects. Previously she has worked at the Court of Audit of the Republic of Slovenia. She has obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from University in Ljubljana and passed the State Bar Exam in 2002. Tina Brecelj is also a founding member of the International Association for Court Administration (IACA) and was one of the organizers of the First IACA International Conference which was held in September 2004 in Ljubljana. She has served as IACA Vice President Europe until the end of 2012. |
